LP425

Broadband Directional Antenna

400 MHz–3 GHz

Applications

  • Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
  • Cellular
  • Wi-Fi
  • Public Safety Bands

Features

Model LP425 is a directional antenna designed for transmitting and receiving wireless communications signals. The broadband characteristics of the log-periodic structure enable it to operate over a very wide frequency range with constant gain. Innovative design and manufacturing techniques result in long-lasting strength and performance.

The antenna boom is made from a custom aluminum extrusion that reduces the number of mechanical RF junctions. The use of similar metal alloys keeps PIM (Passive Intermodulation) to a minimum. Dipole elements are permanently attached to the boom by a technique that maintains excellent electrical characteristics for the life of the antenna. Theresult is a stronger, more stable feedpoint with alow VSWR.

The antenna includes a universal mounting bracket for easy installation. An optional radome cover (UL94VO flame rated) is offered for added protection. An optional powdercoat finish with UV inhibitors is recommended for use in outdoor environments.
